Nestled in the rugged, raw beauty of Fiordland, New Zealand, WithWild stands as a pioneer of conservation-led dining. Founded on the belief that the purest food is found in the wild, they have emerged as a contributor to our native landscapes, turning a conservation necessity into a world-class culinary resource.
WithWild was born from a desire to work with nature rather than trying to tame it. Every year, wild animals across Aotearoa are managed as part of essential conservation efforts to protect our precious native flora and fauna. WithWild chooses to honour these free-roaming animals - specifically the Fiordland Wapiti - by acknowledging them as a premium, sustainable food source.
By ethically harvesting these animals from the wild, WithWild helps protect biodiversity and contributes to conservation initiatives in Fiordland National Park - giving native birds like the Kiwi, Kea, and Whio a fighting chance to thrive in their natural habitat


Because the venison is wild-harvested and free-roaming, the meat is incredibly lean, nutrient-dense, and packed with an authentic flavour profile shaped by the Fiordland wilderness - something farmed alternatives simply can’t reproduce. It is venison as nature intended: tender, subtle, and harvested with the utmost respect for the animal and the land.
