So where is New Caledonia?

New Caledonia sits above and between Australia and New Zealand and is a short 2.5 hour flight from Auckland. New Caledonia consists of many islands, La Grand Terre, approximately 400 kilometres long and the Loyalty Islands – Lifou, Maré, Tiga and Ouvéa.


What is the weather like?

New Caledonia enjoys a sub-tropical climate year-round, with maximum temperatures averaging between 25°C and 30°C in the warm season from September to March, and between 20°C and 23°C in the cooler months from April to August.
