How to Cook Quinoa + 5 Tasty Recipes

-1 cup quinoa
-2 cups water (or broth)
-1/2 tsp salt


1. Rinse the quinoa with cold water for 2 mins.
2. Toast quinoa in a saucepan for 1 minute until the water evaporates, then lightly toast until browned.
3. Add two cups of water (or broth) and salt. Bring to a boil.
4. Lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes with the lid on.
5. Remove the lid and fluff with a fork. There should be no water remaining.
